Sarah Redelheim & Vincent Joyce
July 4, 2010
Normandy Farm Blue Bell, Pennsylvania
The couple knew they wanted their personalities to shine through every detail, so they chose wedding boutique La Petite Fleur in Glenside, PA, to fashion the festivities’ flowers, flourishes, and finishing touches.
With their love of friends, laughter (and Independence Day!) as inspiration, La Petite Fleur turned the Fourth of July into Sarah and Vinny’s personal holiday—creating a look for their wedding that was full of pizzazz and personality!
Boutique owner Leigh Karsch fashioned a stationery suite, which included a black and silver pocket invitation, as well as escort and table cards emblazoned with a signature “firework flash” and finished-off with silver “Sparklers.”
The flowers were as unique and vibrant as the bride and groom. Sarah’s bouquet was an elegant collection of white calla lilies and roses accented with tiny crystals (for just a hint of sparkle), and the bridesmaid bouquets popped with color—featuring two designs of hot pink roses, a variety of mango-colored blooms, celosia, red berries and pink mini carnations. Shimmery sweet were the flower girls wearing flower halos and carrying rose petal-filled baskets.
The ceremony boasted a custom La Petite Fleur chuppa dressed in light, flowing white fabric. Meanwhile, lavender blooms and leaves, secured with trailing white satin, adorned the guest chairs.
The reception décor was elegant, yet exuberant, and featured two styles of centerpieces. Some tables featured various sized glass cylinders filled with brightly colored water and floating candles, while a collection of fuchsia glass cubes with single-colored bloom clusters in brilliant gem tones were perched upon other tables.
This high-spirited celebration marked Sarah and Vinny’s occasion in a remarkably personal and— with La Petite Fleur’s influence— high-style fashion.
